Pre-Examination Training for Civil Services Examination Conducted by UPSC
- Nature of Training:
An 11-month training program is provided for the Preliminary, Main, and Personality Test of the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This training is provided by reputed institutions located in Delhi and Maharashtra. - Annual Allotted Seats: 1000 (Delhi and Maharashtra combined)
- Benefits Provided:
- Free coaching
- Stipend of ₹13,000 per month (75% attendance required)
- One-time contingency fund of ₹18,000
- One-time travel allowance of ₹10,000 for students in Delhi
- Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra.
- Must belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Nomadic Tribes & Special Backward Classes.
- Must fall under the Non-Creamy Layer category.
- Must have completed a graduation degree.
- Age limit: 21 to 35 years (up to 37 years for candidates with disabilities)
- Documents Required to Apply:
- Identity proof – Aadhar Card / Voter ID
- Caste certificate
- Valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate
- Required academic documents
- Selection Process for Training:
- Advertisement are given for training and online application are invited on Mahajyoti Website.
- A screening test is conducted, and final selection is made based on merit and reservation rules.
